I Live

I eat for a hunger

That will never be satisfied

I drink for a thirst

That will never fade

I live for a life

I will never have

I clench at a mountain

That isn't really there

Everything I want

Was never really mine

It's an ongoing journey

On a road with no stops

In a tale with no end

Its pain is intolerable

But its worth is unmeasurable

I stand
