I feel weary
My eyes are heavy
My skin is moist to the touch
I’m reaching out
but there I feel nothing
I want to scream
But when I open my mouth
Not even a whisper that comes out
My breath is heavy
My vision blurry
It’s as though everything is just beginning
As it comes to the end
The air becomes still
The quiet was suffocating
It becomes inviting
My breath slows
My skin cools
My eyes in their watery grave
Slowly close
As I simply
Give in
